Sharewear is not an active tracker. It is a digital ID band that provides information that a tracker is incapable of. Because of this, it doesn’t need batteries of charging ever! However, we have an optional subscription for as low as $4.99/month that will provide text and email notifications WITH LOCATION whenever the band is tapped.

NFC stands for Near Field Communication. Think of Apple Pay or Tap-to-Pay with any of your credit cards. That’s all made possible because of NFC technology!
Each Sharewear product is embedded with an NFC chip, just like your credit cards. They’re designed to link up to our proprietary software—your Sharewear Profile!
After you set up your profile, the simple tap (or scan of the QR code if applicable) will pull up your page. No app or downloads needed!
It’s safe and secure, hence the reason it can be used for payments. Unlike QR codes that can be scanned from far distances, NFC generally requires a distance of approximately 4cm.

If you have an Android phone, ensure the NFC is enabled by going into your Settings.
NFC can take up to 3 seconds for a connection to be made. Ensure you’re leaving your phone on the product for several seconds.

Nope and nope! Do you have to charge your credit cards or change the batteries when you want to use them for tap-to-pay? Nope! These are the same concept. NFC chips do not need to be charged and no batteries are needed. It doesn’t get better than this!

There are no subscriptions to fully use our products and their digital profiles. They can also be edited as often as needed.
We offer an optional subscription beginning at $4.99/month that will provide text message and e-mail notifications whenever your product is tapped. Additionally, we’ll give you the accurate geolocation for WHERE it was tapped. The ultimate peace of mind at a very attainable price!

All products, with the exception of our NFC Simple Sticker Pack, are waterproof and made to withstand the elements!
Fun Fact: Our owners’ kids are full time USA Swimming swimmers and have worn their bracelets for too many swim practices to count and guess what? They’re still scanning!
